About Bayanihan Fund
The Bayanihan Fund is a social impact initiative that supports the systemic development of social enterprises in the Philippines by providing capital for capacity building and enterprise growth through a place-based, thematic, and value-chain investment strategy. Its goal is to move the sector beyond reliance on one-off grants toward deeper integration with the financial system by establishing multiple area-based social enterprise development funds in pilot sites identified by the National Social Enterprise Roadmap and post-calamity recovery zones, or by contributing to a general fund that supports social enterprises nationwide.
The first fund was launched at the CREBA National Convention in Baguio on October 17, 2025 and is currently in the fundraising stage. Co-managed with APRI Management, Inc., this fund is designed to support social enterprises while addressing the country’s housing backlog. It underscores the vital connection between livelihoods and human settlements in building a sustainable and resilient Philippines.
